The ownership program is made for you !
We take care of maintenance, mooring, and renting out your boat when you are not using it. On your side, you enjoy several weeks of sailing each year, while receiving guaranteed income: the ideal solution to combine the pleasure of sailing with an investment project.
This plan allows you to become the owner of your boat while benefiting from the following advantages:
1 – GUARANTEED ANNUAL INCOME
Locaboat commits to paying you a fixed and guaranteed annual income of 8% of the purchase price of your boat (launch offer), each year, for the entire duration of the contract, which is 8 years.
This income is paid monthly, and its amount is guaranteed, regardless of your personal use of the boat and the boat’s occupancy rate.
2 – NO OPERATING COSTS
As the owner of your boat, you pay no operating costs. We cover all the operational expenses for the duration of the contract:
- Docking fees
- Boat insurance
- Navigation license for the French waterway network
3 – PROFESSIONAL MAINTENANCE
As part of our rental management program, we commit to maintaining your boat with the same quality and professional standards applied to our entire fleet:
- Hauling out
- Annual maintenance
- Repairs
- Weekly inspections between cruises
4 – PERSONAL USE OF YOUR BOAT
Each year, you benefit from 5 weeks of free cruising aboard your boat (including 2 weeks in July and August). Only the costs for consumables and optional services will be charged.
If your boat is not available on your preferred dates, we offer a boat of similar size and quality from our extensive network of rental bases across Europe.
5 – OPTIONS AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT

Option 1: the extension of your contract
